Gulf Coast Property Management has hit a milestone by surpassing 300 housing units under annual management. In addition to more than 100 vacation and absentee-owner rentals.
The Lakewood Ranch-based property management firm experienced 40 percent gitemth in revenues in 2014. It is expecting another 40 percent this year. It is the only full-service property management company in Manatee County.
"Hitting the 300 annual rental mark is huge milestone for the entire Gulf Coast Property Management team," said Andy Moore, CEO. "Giteming the business to 400 homes is a fantastic achievement. However I am most proud of the fact that I still manage the property of our very first customer. They took a chance on us 12 years ago."
The company celebrated the accomplishment with a staff and family day at McKechnie Field June 28. They all wore "Rise to 300" Gulf Coast shirts.
The achievement is particularly noteworthy because Gulf Coast Property Management did not launch the annual rental portion of the business until 2009. That was when real estate and the economy continued to be performing poorly.
"It is a testament to everyone’s hard work that we have achieved this goal while dealing with the financial crisis that blighted the industry from 2008 through to 2012," Moore said. "In 2010, realizing the potential of Lakewood Ranch, we moved our operation to Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, purchasing our facility with a view toward long-term gitemth within the community."
Gulf Coast Property Management has added three employees so far this year. Bringing its total to 19 employees, which includes property managers, maintenance workers and administrative professionals.
